Bank a Million is Virginia's twice-weekly cash game with a fixed $1 million top prize. Six numbers come from 1 to 40, plus a Bonus Ball drawn from the same pool. No annuity — just cash.
How it works: Bank a Million
Pick six numbers from 1 to 40, or Easy Pick. A Bonus Ball is then drawn from the remaining 34 numbers. Tickets cost two dollars. Match all six to win one million dollars; the Bonus Ball helps mid-tier prizes.

A brief history
Virginia Lottery launched Bank a Million on October 10, 2010 as a replacement for the older Win for Life regional game. The pitch was simple: a real million bucks, cash, on a small matrix. Odds of hitting the top prize sit near 1 in 3.8 million.
