Lotto Texas is the Texas Lottery's flagship in-state jackpot game, and has been since the lottery launched in 1992. Pick six numbers from 1 to 54. Starting jackpot is five million.

Choose six numbers from 1 to 54, or take a Quick Pick. Tickets cost one dollar. Add Extra! for another dollar to boost lower-tier prizes. Match all six to win the jackpot, paid as annuity or cash option. Draws happen four nights a week.

A brief history
Lotto Texas held its first draw on November 14, 1992 — just months after the Texas Lottery itself launched. The matrix has been tuned several times; the current 6-of-54 was set in April 2003. The largest jackpot ever paid was $145 million on June 19, 2004.
