Super Lotto Plus
SuperLotto Plus is the California Lottery's flagship in-state jackpot game. Five numbers from 1 to 47, plus a Mega number from 1 to 27. Twice-weekly draws.
How it works: Super Lotto Plus
Pick five main numbers from 1 to 47 and one Mega number from 1 to 27, or take Quick Pick. Tickets are one dollar. Match all five mains plus the Mega for the jackpot, which starts at $7 million. Lower tiers are pari-mutuel.
The real odds of Super Lotto Plus
These figures come straight from the game's official number matrix, so they're fixed by math — not by which numbers you pick. A quick pick has exactly the same chance as any other combination, and no generator can change that.

- Match all 5 numbers plus the bonus

A brief history
California Lottery launched SuperLotto Plus on June 7, 2000, replacing the older SuperLotto with a wider main pool and a separate Mega Ball. Prizes are pari-mutuel under California law — payouts depend on ticket sales and winner counts in each tier. Largest jackpot ever paid was $193 million in February 2002.
